Worship

To know Christ and make him known

Worship is the supreme purpose of the universe.  The reason the heavens and the earth were created was to glorify God.  The psalmist says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands” and “Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth."

Sunday Mornings

When we gather on Sunday morning for our worship service, we believe we are accomplishing four things.  1) We give corporate expression of our love for Jesus Christ and our appreciation for His atonement on our behalf.  2)  We celebrate God’s wonderful works in our lives.  3) We are being built together as a habitation for God, wherein He dwells by His Spirit.  4) We receive from God His Word, the Scriptures, to be planted in us; and also prophetic words that edify and encourage.

Music

The music portion of our worship on Sunday morning will be directed by the designated worship leaders.  We are excited about the passionate heart for worship these leaders display.  Working as a team with the pastors and elders, we will together try to discern the prophetic flow of the Spirit.  As the Spirit directs, Sunday mornings will feature music, drama, and ministry.  Most Sunday mornings will include the teaching of the Word of God.

“What is the chief and highest end of man?"

"The chief and highest end of man is to glorify God and fully to enjoy Him forever.”
